His one US Open came so long ago, and without him having to beat Federer, Nadal, or even Agassi (who was actually ranked #1).

Since then, he's been a non-factor in the whole Nadal-Federer resurgance... until now.

If you had to equate Roddick's career to an NBA player, it would be more of a Dominique Wilikins-type. Explosive, and consistently present, but never having sustained championship-type success over a long period.

It will be really sucky for Roddick to have not lost serve for 6 full sets and still lose if he eventually gets broken somewhere here.

I don't think Andy has the speed to get to Federer's serve therefore he just sits there.

Just simply further enhances Federer's greatness.

Agreed, I think Roddick would rather save his energy for serves he can return.

This feels like the Nadal-Federer final where Nadal just looked like he was cruising and Federer was fighting for his life to avoid getting broken, except Federer is in Nadal's shoes this time.

Roddick has had plenty of opportunity to break Federer.

Roger is just not as good as he used to be, but he still pulled through.

I loved the nike and netjets commercial. What if he never won his 15th those commercials would be awesome on youtube.

Greatest final of all time! Andy deserved to win,I feel bad for him. He was heroic, but Federer is the greatest. I'm proud of Roger. 15 Grand Slams. He now stands alone.

Wow, epic match. Rarely do I watch Tennis but when I got up this morning I put this on. I am glad for Federer, but do feel a bit sorry for Roddick, you could see he put everything into it.

shockingly enough, it's true. there is still such a huge dropoff from fed and nadal (and who knows how he'll be when he gets back), and the rest of the field though, it's tough to keep him out of finals.

as for the commercials, the netjets one has been in rotation already, they just added the 15th title text at the end. as for the other, i'd imagine they'd just keep it on the shelf until he won another.
