The only problem I have with Willis is that he has TERRIBLE hands. That guy would pull down at least 5 more boards a game and probably get 5 more buckets a game if he had better hands. However, he's always had bad hands, so I expected it when he came back. I just with the dude would spend a summer with Jerry Rice or something...

If there is one guy on the team that deserves not to be criticized, it's Willis. He is giving the Rockets that post-up threat that they've needed for a while, except for that stint last season when Dream played well. He is reminding me of what Carlos Rogers did last year when he was given PT, coming in from the baseline for the wide open pass and dunk...except he is better at posting up and on defense than Carlos was.

Two jumpshots, which he was wide open on both, is not a reason to criticize Willis. They were ill-advised, but it's hard for any player to pass up any shot that wide open. Kevin should not be blamed for last night's loss.

Mobley, on the other hand, is really worrying me right now. He is not growing along and learning like Steve is, he is still making the same mistakes he has in the past years...shooting 26 ft shots with 12 on the shotclock is not something a 4th year player should do.

That rule has not been around for long at all, and the shot clock remained at three seconds for a while after the tie up. Mobley practically played Kobe to a draw, all on a bad ankle that originally forced him to be listed as doubtful. I don't think that's who you need to be worried about...

Come on Cat, you've jumped from the shot clock remaining at three seconds after the ball was tied up to now "and the shot clock remained at three seconds for a while after the jump ball". :D You could clearly see that the clock that our end of the court had been changed before the ball was even tossed. Which is it? If I get pulled over for speeding (55 in a 45) I can't use ignorance of the law as an excuse. Uh...I though you could go 10mph over and not get a ticket. Rules is Rules dontcha know. :D

I didn't say he played bad...he usually never does. But, at that point in the game, you've got to know for sure how much time is on the shot clock. He played well, but those kind of mistakes can really bring a team down.

I mean a while after the jump ball as in after Hunter tied up Francis. I didn't mean the actual jump that they did at the free throw line... I'll edit that.
