Willis and Hakeem reunited ? Or Hakeem to retire ?

to form the oldest frontcourt in the NBA ?

According to HoopsWorld, the Raptors would like to sign Willis, but he's deciding between Toronto and LA, I bet he goes for the Ring personally.

However, a few problem arise, the Raptors don't have any pinstripes so it would double as weird to see the two of them together again :)

Willis wasn't exactly a scrub during his career, he used to be a 20-10 player.

Willis was talking with Pete Babcock about returning
here but the problem is that we have one roster
spot and we really need a defensive swingman off
the bench like Stacy Augmon/George Lynch so
    signing Willis might not happen.

NEW: Spurs sign 18-year veteran Willis to help in frontcourt

    San Antonio Express-News

    Web Posted : 08/26/2002 3:29 PM

The Spurs have signed 18-year veteran center Kevin Willis, the team announced today.

Terms of the deal were not announced, but the contract is believed to be for one year.

Willis, a 7-footer who will turn 40 on Sept. 6, has averaged 13.1 points and nine rebounds in his career.

He comes to the Spurs as a free agent after averaging 6.1 points and 5.8 rebounds last season in a reserve role with the Houston Rockets.

Willis is expected to provide backup help for Spurs' frontcourt starters Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

Last season, he averaged 16.1 minutes in 52 games for Houston.

Selected by the Atlanta Hawks as the 11th overall pick in the 1984 draft out of Michigan State, Willis spent nearly 11 seasons with the Hawks.

He made the all-star team in 1992 and averaged double-figure rebounds four years in a row from 1992 to 1995.

Besides Atlanta and Houston, where he served two separate stints with the Rockets, Willis has played for Miami, Golden State, Toronto and Denver.

He grabbed his 10,000th career rebound against the Spurs on March 26, 1999.

Willis is a career 48.8 percent shooter from the field and a 71.6 shooter from the free-throw line.
