How are his hands? You just know he's going to get tons of garbage points from dump-offs from Steve, Mooch, Mobes, etc - can he grab the ball and dunk quickly?

    How about his free-throw shooting?

I can't believe how you guys turn on the dream so quickly. However, now that we have Willis we might make the playoffs. I just wish his arms were longer than his forehead.

Willis is a good pick up,he can help at the 5 and the 4,he will be able to get some points and rebounds, he has good hands ,he used to be a pretty good dunker, when he played with us.I haven't seen him play much since then but I wouldn't be surprised to see him finish with a two handed dunk.
Having him can also open up opportunities for our shooters as well.

Is it just me or didn't Willis have a great jump hook when he was close to the basket that would almost always go in? I hear a lot of people putting down his jump hook. Am I thinking of another player? (not hakeem) :)

He does have a short baby jump hook, which is quite effective.

Didn't know what Willis thread this belonged in, so I just picked one.

Two players that RT and CD agonized over trading have been Othella Harrington and Kevin Willis. They are both the type of player that IS the Rocket's ideal role players. They are hard working to a fault, pushing themselves. Very coachable, even Willis who was a veteran and having worked for several franchises, was open to literally any task the staff sent him. Believe me they miss both of those guys...............Anyway, to answer your question ... no I have absolutely nothing current or recent that would point to him.

Before he got sent to Denver, he was rumored in the media that he was being shopped heavily at the time. At least one deal was made public by the Raptors before Willis was told and it pissed him off. I had heard that some overtures were made for him by Houston at that time(between the inialt trades and the eventual trdae to Denver). A couple of things since but nothing that was solid or substantial.

He has a nice two year contract left I think ... $2.2 to 2.4M or something a year .... and man even at his age he still commands some respect under the cotton.

I sure would like to see him end his career here.

    Your wish has been granted.

Willis designs clothes as a side venture of sorts.

While oeilpere's nostalgia is coming true, bring back Othella and his 2 million+ per year contract if you can! :D The ironic thing is that the original Kevin Willis trade helped bring Francis here eventually since Willis was trade for first round picks. Now we have Willis back to help Francis!

His jump hook was effective when his foot movement was good and he got a little space between and his defender. However, at times he would force the shot, like when the defense was too tight, he still would shoot it and usually it was a brick or airball. Basically you could tell when it was going in and when it wasn't.
