Pirog is a hungry fighter. I don't think I truly understood the "sweet science" aspect of boxing until that fight he had with Jacobs, as I am just moving from casual fan to a student of the sport.

See you want to come across as some kind of boxing official, throwing put people under the radar snubbing who is apparently the best in several weight classes. Reality is that neither of these two fighters have the defensive skill, speed to match up with Manny. Only mayweather at this moment has the combination of talents that could frustrate Manny. Manny and Mayweather haven't been ducking PWill, because they are afraid, they both now that there is absolutely nothing he can offer them as far as progression goes the only way either of these two boxers could beat Manny or Floyd would be a complete fluke.

Now you can resume your ass hugging, high browing, I know more than you bull****. Facts are facts and fact is PWill has no chance to beat Manny or Floyd, sorry if that hurts your proposed uber/leet boxing knowledge.

The way he set up Danny for that shot was amazing. He switched it up three times to set that punch up. Danny never saw it coming. He's definitely hungry and an extremely talented kid. I was honestly happy to hear he was on HBO's radar. He's a problem for anyone at 160 and I look forward t seeing him fight again on a big stage.

It's great to have fans like yourself. Keep on watching. It's the best sport in the world

For one, I am in the boxing industry so I hope I'm at least knowledgable on the subject.

You are an ignorant manny hugger who knows nothing but swallowing when Manny finishes. Despite his dominance against Margs, he got hurt a few times. PWill and martinez are way faster and more talented then Margs. They would find manny early and often. Martinez would put him to sleep without any questions asked. No fighters are afraid for the most part. Floyd isn't scared of Manny, Manny isn' scared of Floyd. It's business and politics.

I don't have to resume anything. When manny allows you to come up for air after you've swallowed then come back and speak to me. In fact, you better get Buboy's written permission taint licker.

He fought like **** but he's too big for JMM. Marquez didn't carry his power at all at 47 plus he's a counter puncher

Im not saying that Martinez is not a great boxer. It's just that from round 1 it was clear to me that PW was not going to last for many rounds. I think for fighter of the year, I'd give more credit to Manny for the 8th weight class title.

That was a TKO of the year for Martinez, no doubt about that.

PWill always gets hit. It's what's most frustrating to watch from a boxer his size. Eventuall that catches up to you and it did last night.

No chance for Manny. Beating Clottey and Margarito isn't going to give you that award. It's impressive how he's moved up but those two wins in 2010 aren't special. Beating pavlik and knocking out Williams is hard to top. Good for Sergio.

It was a KO. Williams was asleep before he hit the canvas. One of the best punches I've seen since jackson ko'd Graham

Yea, the "____ only fans" of any sports are the worst. Anyways, I too would like to see Martinez-Williams III. Why not? Both won one fight each, lets go for the rubber match. I feel Williams will learn a lot from this knockout loss and should come in fighting much smarter. Although I heard they tried to get a rematch clause for this fight but were denied. If not a trilogy, I want to see Martinez in a catchweight bout with Lucian Bute or back to 154 for a fight against Alfredo Angulo. I also wouldn't mind seeing him take on the winner of the Super 6 whenever that ends.

You are correct. Although, I don't blame Sergio for not giving a rematch clause since he had to fight at a catch weight. I hate catch weights and was disspointed in Paul for calling for one.

I want to see the rubbermatch as well. I think it's the most money either guy can make as well. Atlantic City was pumped for the fight and I think you can do another 2000-2500 in Cali or Vegas. Martinez is picking up a following.

Good call on Angulo at 54. That would be a war. I'd pick Sergio by KO though in like 6. How about Kirkland after he picks up a few fight there? FOTY there.

Bute signed a deal with Showtime recently so I think that will be tough. The promoters of the guys in the super 6 are going to get paid internally and I understand that.

If Martinez goes Williams 3, Pirog, Sturm and Angulo in any order and wins them all, then he's the best p4p fighter in the sport unless Manny and Floyd decide they want to take their skirts off and fight

Picking anyone to win by KO in certain rounds shows how absolutely stupid you are.

Man, totally forgot about my boy James Kirkland. He was a force before he got locked up. Let him get a few fights and then we'll see if he's up for Martinez. I forgot it was Showtime that signed Bute, was thinking it was HBO so you're right about that fight being hard to make now.

But man, boxing sure has been on a nice roll to end the year. Continuous weeks of good fights since early November, ending in late December with Pascal vs Hopkins. It can't get any better. Well, maybe if the year ends or the new year starts with good news on Pacquiao-Mayweather III......negotiations.
