So now you follow up a racist remark by comparing it to soldiers who died in vain? WTH are you trying to do with this photo? Did you even note the background? Honestly basso, you're making less and less sense every day.

difference being that if you walked into certain places and brought up walruses and bukkits, people would be like "WTF."

whereas if you pulled this stunt with "black men in America", you would probably get the s*** knocked out of you.

i personally don't care if you're racist or not and find the whole witchhunt kinda ridiculous, but you running around with this internet meme crap makes me think the following of you

I will point out that the Democractic Caucus did censor William Jefferson when he was first busted.

would say the media coverage of William Jefferson and, say, Larry Craig or Mark Sanford (just to pick two names at random), has been more or less equivalent? which is the greater scandal?

it just shows that basso cannot think for himself anymore. he's for so long worn the "precious" handed out by the republican propaganda machine that he's turned into gollum.

    What is with equivalencies?

IMO yes William Jefferson's scandal got quite a bit of coverage as much as Larry Craig and Mark Sanford just like D Ohio James Trafficant's scandal and conviction got a lot of coverage too.

I will admit I don't have a quantifiable study to show that the amount of coverage was roughly equal but yes William Jefferson's scandal has been widely covered.

Well, It's expected that occasionally inept elected officials will give in to the temptation of money. I'm not sure it's expected that they sexually proposition boys and have the party leadership cover for them.

And hey, I can pick two random names as well... Abramoff, Cunningham.
