Anything that I have seen about William Hung has made me smile after they finally showed him on American Idol instead of the previews. Yeah, he sucked so bad that it was funny, but then he came back with such a great attitude that was very sincere. I told my girlfriend right then that he would be sought after to make appearances in TV shows because I think that he is that kind of "Rudyish" character that we all pull for. Now, I never thought that he would actually get a recording contract because he is horrible singer (but entertaining dancer). I will probably buy the CD/DVD and never open it from the plastic. I like the idea that it would be supporting him, someone who I think deserves my support more than any of the actual American Idols out there. I saw some clips of him singing at some gathering at his university and the crowd was great. They were singing along to 'She Bangs' and it was pretty cool. I didn't get the feeling that people were making fun of him so much, but that they were there to support him. If he ever came around to a small venue, I would love to see him as long as he stays real to himself and doesn't let all of this change him and make him think that he's something that he's not. Go William Hung! Good for him.
I actually watched that American Idol Special on the Rejects. He seems like a first class nerd. I actually felt a little sorry for him because he seems like the kid laughing because he thought people were laughing with him instead of at him.
Further proof that some people in this world are seriously f***ed up in the head. Consumers who buy this album are probably the same ones who buy the "Dogs Barking Christmas Carols" CDs (or... gasp... Justin Guarini's CD). Please, people, seek professional help. *severely pissed off that I didn't think of such a genius plan to rake in the dough*
This is what make America great At least Hung is having fun with it. That is more than you can say for a lot of the professionals.
Hey guys! How about this idea? William Hung! The Rockets's backup point guard. Hung: Throw it down, Yao, throw it down. Yao: Stop singing, Hung, you're going to make me dance on the court, after I throw it down, You can dance for the fans. Don't like this idea, what about? William Hung! The new Rocket's cheerleader.
Professional what? Make an ass out myselfers? That's the whole point, he isn't a professional just a running joke.
