    They are both capable of bringing the ball across the half-court. Lin has yet to prove that. Lin is not true point, he doesn't know how to run a team. First shoot player, volume scorer, bad defender and doesn't have left hand at all.

    The Knicks should be thanking us we let him go because if it weren't for having that waste of a roster spot (Flynn), we probably wouldn't be in this situation right now and Linsanity wouldn't have even came about in NY.

    Lin if not only for the fact that there really isn't a better option that's available. Brooks and Sessions are scrubs and Machado is an undrafted rookie. Lou Williams may be serviceable but that's if we do a Royce White point forward deal and Williams focuses more on scoring.

    sessions: garbage.
    brooks: still garbage even after playing China
    Lin: has the most upside. Has only played like 25 games and is still twice as good as sessions and brooks. His main issue was his turnovers, but he hasn't even started in more than 15 games so I would make that argument invalid

    That's real money, not cap. Lin/Asik contracts are average over the cap, instead of 20M you're spending 15M on two (hopefully or we're screwed) starters. That's actually quite cheap
