Will Yi be a starter on the All Star team?

    Yi seems like a different case than Yao since hes didn't get the attention that Yao got when he arrived in the league. Plus he isn't in that many national games

    :rolleyes: Well ,I think Chinese fans will have a reasonable selection to vote . Yi needs more effort to become a all-star in his way ;)

    Yi will struggle to ever be an allstar unless Chinese votes get him in...

    MDE got more online chinese votes than Yao and still didn't start.

    Man you're too kind, and very naive for overestimating "the average fans"


    That's true, but he is having a better start than Yao did and there is still plenty of time for him to improve, assuming Michael Redd passes to him

    But seriously, assuming he does get Chinese support. It'll be very hard to keep him off the roster. KG is the only clear-cut winner that'll start. Bosh, Howard, etc are all better players for now but I don't think they generate as much hype

    Maybe online? But I am pretty sure Spreewell was named starter without being on the ballot. And maybe Magic Johnson. You can write in votes.
