though it is too early to tell
but i guess he gonna stay in houston, and play for the ROX
Reason1. Rox is the first nba team that he play for in the USA, i promise he and the team has a deep relationship. I think Yao is a good guy, money is not a big deal to him, he is already rich enough. the feeling is quite imorportant.

2.Nobody can tell what the ROX will be, though its early to think about the champion, i guess yao and his teammates thought it a lot. dont forget the slogan" be part of something big" do u really believe yao gonna leave whithout getting any result?

    3. Rox will try hard to keep him. if not, they will lose a huge market, they wont do that, they are cleverer than any of us. they will try their best.

    4. and i dont want to him leave Rox, i love ROX, cause YAO. i hope he can stay, at least win the once champion for us. (this reason is jus my own words)

    :D

The subject of this post is self-explanatory. If you didn't get that, then you're the one that doesn't know what you're talking about. Besides, if this post was so dumb like the poster before you said, then why post in it?

    Guilty pleasures...umm...

This is the dumbest piece of bs I have ever heard. I for one am a Rox first anybody else second fan, WHICH IS WHY I sure as hell would like to see Yao stay in Houston.

No player has shown he alone can take a team to the championship, not even Jordan. So if we don't smarten up, play as a team or whatever. So if the rest of the team doesn't improve, HOW IS IT YAO'S FAULT? Believe me Les or whoever owns the Rox in 3 years will do whatever to resign him, especially considering how he's always improving.

    MFW2310 :D , thanks for the compliment.

    I have a motto:

    Stupid threads deserve stupid posts.

    It was quite applicable today.

True. In fact, Yao came and best showed the stupidity of the old ISO offense. Before the season, Rockets backcourt is considered most talented in the league. Look at where they are now.

Rockets just look like Clippers right now, full of self-claimed talents and no winning basketball.

Yeah, he's just one of those self-proclaimed "true rockets fan" that can't stand any criticism toward the stupidity of the team reflected by Yao's success. A over sensitive and self-pitiful fan who is called "live" can't get a life. Well, go ahead and keep attacking others for pointing out the obvious by accusing them of being "yao only" fan. Man, so many Yao haters among basketball fans these days, even in a Rockets BBS.

Yeah right, Dirk and Finley will give him the ball all night.

Ironically I voted "No" even though I meant to click on "Yes" because I was thinking to myself :"No way, some fans can't be so *!"

For those of you who think Yao only cares about money, you're fooling yourselves. Do you think Kobe, Shaq, KG, Jkidd, or any other top talent would stick to a losing team? I don't think so. Those guys can get the max on any team out there, so money is not an issue.

The Max that the Rox can give is higher than the Max the rest of the league can give. Same with Kobe and Shaq, and look at Webber making all that noice, but he'd stay in Sac because they and only they can give him that amoung of money barring a S&T. So even if Yao does decide to leave us, we can still use him as trade bait, but that's only if its the last option.

Damn, I'm sorry, I thought this was a ROCKETS BULLETIN BOARD! I must've clicked the wrong link.

You know, I've held this back for a while but this thread about busts it for me. I know that a lot of you are Yao fans and you could give a flying rat's ass whether the Rockets do well as long as Yao succeeds. That's fine. You have a right to like whoever you want.

But, this is NOT THE PLACE to discuss how you wish Yao would play for a better team or how you think Yao would be better suited in another uniform.

You know, if Yao ended up playing for the Jazz, for example, I would hope every self-respecting Rockets fan would boo him the hell out of the new building right along with the rest of the Jazzholes. It's about being a Rockets fan.

This is certainly not a slam of those of you who simply love Yao and nothing else, but, just in case you hadn't noticed, the world did not start revolving when Yao was born. There was an NBA long before he got here and there will be one long after he is gone. There was a Rockets long before he got here too.

I absolutely find the guy mezmorizing and he's easily my favorite Rocket player at the moment but I'm getting more than a little worn out by all the negativism towards the team in favor of the player. I SEROUSLY DOUBT Yao would be flattered knowing you were giving him love while hammering on his teammates. Having read all about the type of person he is, I suspect he would find the comments disrespectful.

I am also sick and tired of Yao-only fans whining when people call them out here on the BBS for supporting the player OVER the team. The behavior by some of you is akin walking into a Ultimate Fighting competition and calling everyone in attendance a p***y. At the very least, you'll get thrown out, but there is a very good chance you'll get your ass kicked.

I want to see Yao succeed because I want to see the Rockets succeed and I'm sure most everyone else wants the same. So, a word to the wise, if all you want to do is complain about the team because of your support of Yao, you might be better served taking it elsewhere. But, if you decide to stay here, don't cry when you get your ass kicked.

This is, after all, a Rockets board.
