Will Yao be a captain next year?

I opened this thread, and then started doing something else. Had me trying to figure out what the **** was playing three blind mice on my computer for about 10 minutes before I thought to look down the thread.

 

This is the most freakin funny thing I've ever seen.

First, Dr_Pocket with his totally unrelated picture.
And then I read all the comments from Uprising, robbie, etc. I can't help laughing until I cry.

 

Dr. Hotballa would like everyone to know that 23 year olds don't often become captains, especially ones that don't speak english as well. Also I think most of the Rockets see Yao as a talented wunderkid, it'll take more than a year or two, not to mention at least 1 or 2 COMPLETED 20+/10+ years for them to actually see him as Captain material. Please, let's not take such things lightly. There's a reason GMs covet veteran leadership.

 

I think Mobley and Rice would be a nice captain duo.. I don't even think Francis should be captain... but he is the best player on the rox right now. Yao shouldn't be captain, at least not yet. Besdies the fact that there are already three captains, Yao isn't ready and he doesn't have enough NBA experience just yet. Wait a couple of years, and wait for Rice to retire.

i dont think it matters who's caption and who's not. we should care less if coline pine is the team caption. all I want is for the offense to go through yao & steve.
