I'm hoping it's this season, because if not the Rockets might give up on the Tmac/Yao combo(might trade Tmac) and let Artest walk at end of season. So in that case I'm saying 2009 NBA Champs.

Celtics won it and there big 3 were all 30+

all our players are under 30, and have never won a ring...so the passion and the drive is there..

we just have to go get

With the way Morey wheels and deals I wouldn't be surprised if we won two out of the next three. The window won't close as long as he can swing deals and keep our talent level at the top of the league.

After we win this year we need to swing a trade anyway to bring one of our hometown boys back to get a ring. Ala 95 with Clyde. Maybe after the season if Ron wants too much money, we sign him for however much he wants and trade him for Rashard or something.

I don't know why but I feel like we are kind of cursed. And even though I voted for "in 2 years" I feel like we are never going to get a title. Not with Tmac and Yao.

*The question should probably be asking within 2 years, rather than 3. I honestly don't see McGrady playing at a high level past 2 more years. His physical regression from age 20-29 has been significantly more painful to watch than Hakeem's from age 30-39.

*As I have said many times, I feel that this is the weakest the West has been in a very long time, not in regards to depth of quality, but rather the fact that this is the first time there aren't any 'elite' teams ahead of the pack. I am thoroughly unimpressed by LAL and New Orleans, the consensus front runners. We are probably fortunate that our strongest roster in the Yao/McGrady era will be coinciding with this opened window of opportunity. Though on the other hand, one could say we really squandered away McGrady's prime and that that was our best chance.

*I think it's highly unlikely that Artest returns past next year.

I think if we gonna out first round, Tmac will leave us(dont know how long goes his contract). I would hate to see him going so we must win this year the ring or at least arrive the western finals. But iam confident that we rock the season + playoffs! I cant wait to stand up every game night to see my rockets! Thats the sacrifice for living in Germany!

sorry for my orthographi and grammar, got only a B- last year

I have faith in Morey. This team will continue to prosper as long as he is able to make the type of moves he has shown he has the ability to pull off. He is like a great salesman that convinces teams they really need what he is selling. Even if its just some spare parts he is trying to get rid of.

If Rons price is too high for what we wanna pay, Morey might sign him and trade him after preseason. Don't expect Morey to just let him make a clean get away.

It won't be the first time we won a championship, made a big trade and still won again the next year.

If we can all stay healthy I think we can do it in the next 2yrs. We have alot of role players around our stars. So I think that puts us in the top 2 in the west.

If we are healthy, we go to the finals and probably win it this year and compete for it for the following two years. 3PEAT Baby! :D

I think it is not that hard to take Boston.
    1. KG's attacking still is mainly on jump shot.
    2. Ray Allen is mainly on 3pt.
    3. They are older.
It is not that hard to shut them down.

But West is very competitive....especially Fakers...

Yao and T-Mac should try to get Championship next year, otherwise it will be harder.
    1. T-Mac is decaying these years.
    2. Yao is too tall, his knee may not be able to afford it for another 5 years.
    3. Artest's contract.

After they play Boston and L.A. a couple of times, I think we will all know. I really don't think there will be a long period of adjustment. If TMac can get his jumper back and shoot in the forty percent range, Yao can get his stamina back and stay healthy, and Ron keep his focus and stay under control, the Rockets will be hard to deal with right up front. Too much fire power, too much defense: a combination that has not been seen in these parts for some time.

I really think we can, I don't see the lakers as the big threat bc Pau and Odom aren't as dangerous as most people think. If you saw the Spain vs US game today you saw how easily Pau was neutralized. I really See the hornets as the threat to our reign atop the west especially with the addition of James Posey. They have some very good wing players with peja,Posey,Peterson, and Julian Wright. Then Chris Paul is just the best point in the game and their front court is solid with Tyson and West. I really think its gonna be Hornets and Rockets WCF next year, the Lakers are just not gonna have enough basketballs to please all those guys especially wtih Kobe out there.

I want to see what we do against Hornets, Fakers, Phoenix, Utah and Portland. Portland is going to do damage this year. I will also watch the Cavs, C's and Piston games.

You will notice that I didn't mention Dallas, because they are softer than us with Josh Howard and Dirk.

Yeah, the Celtics gave up far more in Al Jefferson, but I don't think they regret it at all.

no way will the rockets win a title within 3 years because of the existance of the celtics bigthree.we may dominate the western conferance but celtics bigthree will not allow our bigthree to rob them of their championships in their last several professional years.maybe we will win the ship in the fourth year when we willl sign lebron james.
