Yeah, or how about this one? :)

New Jersey gets rid of Kidd's and Mourning's contracts, which would kill their cap for years to come. They get a solid start of a core for the future with Bibby. Plus, they get a seasoned veteran with leadership qualities with Jimmy Jackson, and a solid east coast power forward in Juwan Howard, who has a relatively affordable contract by today's standards. Their core with Bibby, Jimmy Jackson, Richard Jefferson, Howard could run all day, and next year they could attack in the free agent market. Gaines is just cap filler, but might still develop into a servicable, athletic backup point guard.

Sacramento gets rid of Bibby and Peja. Great players, but Kidd is better than Bibby - Sac-Town is struggling this year and with their current team, they will not win the championship. Peja wants out desperately. Bibby recently got into a huge shouting match with Rick Adelman on the plane. The atmosphere between Peja and the rest of the team is poisoned. With a core of Kidd, Webber, Brad Miller and Mourning as backup center, as well as Christie, Lue and a promising Matt Barnes, they might have a shot at the title...Kidd and Webber is a pretty awesome duo to have.

Houston...well, we would get Peja and a slight upgrade at the point...I think. Can you imagine the inside-out offense with Yao in the middle and Peja and T-Mac on the wings? 'Nuff said :D.

Sacramento would also get a first-round pick from Houston and a second-round pick from NJ.

Houston trades: Reece Gaines (No games yet played in 2004/05)
PG Tyronn Lue (4.3 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 3.2 apg in 22.8 minutes)
Jimmy Jackson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
PF Juwan Howard (9.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.3 apg in 21.2 minutes)
Houston receives: SF Peja Stojakovic (16.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.6 apg in 37.6 minutes)
PG Bobby Jackson (10.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.2 apg in 21.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +12.5 ppg, +1.8 rpg, and -0.7 apg.

New Jersey trades: Jason Kidd (No games yet played in 2004/05)
    C Alonzo Mourning (13.2 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 0.4 apg in 27.0 minutes)
New Jersey receives: Reece Gaines (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Jimmy Jackson (No games yet played in 2004/05)
PF Juwan Howard (9.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.3 apg in 21.2 minutes)
PG Mike Bibby (15.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 6.4 apg in 35.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +11.8 ppg, +1.1 rpg, and +6.3 apg.

Sacramento trades: PG Mike Bibby (15.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 6.4 apg in 35.8 minutes)
SF Peja Stojakovic (16.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.6 apg in 37.6 minutes)
PG Bobby Jackson (10.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.2 apg in 21.0 minutes)
Sacramento receives: PG Tyronn Lue (4.3 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 3.2 apg in 22.8 minutes)
Jason Kidd (No games yet played in 2004/05)
    C Alonzo Mourning (13.2 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 0.4 apg in 27.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -24.3 ppg, -2.9 rpg, and -5.6 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston, New Jersey, and Sacramento being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston, New Jersey, and Sacramento had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Sacramento is not trading Bibby for Kidd, nuff said. Sac is a half court passing 3 point shooting team. Kidd is a run and gun point guard with a horrible outside jump shot. Dont fit.

I'd like to commend the Boston trade and the idea of Kurt Thomas as those are the only two realistic possibilities on here.

When talking about PG's, remember that it's not free agency...the fact that Bobby Jackson "would like to get out of Bibby's shadow" makes no difference. It's about what their management wants. And Kittles run a team? Have you ever watched the guy play? He can stick the J and has long arms but that's about it.

I really wish more people on this board would introduce themselves to this crazy thought.

The trade has to be appealing on both sides. The NBA doesn't operate solely based on what's approved on RealGM or NBA 2k5 (with manual override).

We seriously don't have appealing pieces to trade. Mo T *might* be getting showcased by JVG right now, though.

Well, I would very much like this one (Orlando would also get a pick...) :D

Houston trades: PF Maurice Taylor (11.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.6 apg in 27.4 minutes)
Reece Gaines (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Houston receives: SG Cuttino Mobley (13.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.0 apg in 28.8 minutes)
    C Tony Battie (4.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.7 apg in 22.1 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +6.9 ppg, +4.5 rpg, and +1.1 apg.

Orlando trades: SG Cuttino Mobley (13.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.0 apg in 28.8 minutes)
    C Tony Battie (4.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.7 apg in 22.1 minutes)
Orlando receives: PF Maurice Taylor (11.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.6 apg in 27.4 minutes)
Reece Gaines (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Change in team outlook: -6.9 ppg, -4.5 rpg, and -1.1 apg.

I'd pick him up. An old Stockton is better than Ward.

    Someone try to dispute that...

Stockton would probably still be better if you blindfolded him.
