Not in the middle of the pack where we continually draft.

Hmmmm maybe I didn't read the title correctly..

Will we ever get a Superstar Player to come to Houston??

    Maybe I wrote it wrong...

Only if we already have a legit superstar on the team.. So the answer is No.

Not with Stern running everything. He will just somehow see to it New York recieves the pick or Cleveland gets 3 top picks every year.

    I don't need a superstar, I need a champion.

I am hopeful that if we get Gasol, Sign Nene, that D-will would sign in Houston next summer. BOOM

This is a trend with modern players more than it has to do with mismanagement. Players used to take pride in staying with their franchises and building good teams. Modern players would rather team up to take the pressure off themselves to produce. The era of Duncan, Malone/Stockton, Olajuwon, Jordan, Ewing and Miller are long gone.

I think Dwight Howard is the most coveted. Forget about Paul, and Williams. Just do whatever we can to bring Howard here to solidify our line up for the next 3-4 years. Someone start a twitter campaign titled, "D12 to Houston". Many will follow it.

As it has already been mentioned, I don't see it happening unless Houston already has a superstar in place. This is a different era.

I would prefer to play with Martin, Lowry, and Scola over Deron Williams and scrubs. Lopez would be the one to go if they do a S&T.

Why not? It seemed like 'Melo was dead serious about being a Rocket last year. We had McGrady as a superstar, but unfortunately that didn't work out. Same with Yao. Its not like Houston is completely off the radar. I think its gonna take a good solid draft pick #1-#5 draft pick and another couple years before we can have a tandem though.

Plus don't give up on T-Will just yet. I know he has the skillset to be a 20-5-5 guy. But will he ever grow up?

Forgot all about JHill. Maybe he will fit with this new coach. And Thabeet...well I'm hoping he can be 12 minute a night 3/4 skill Mutumbo. Damnit just guard the rim and prevent offensive rebounds for the other team!! I wouldn't think that could be that hard for a guy who showed some skill in college.

When a fourteenth pick becomes a Hall of Famer. Oh wait, we probably don't even have a first rounder for the next five years. This is not a good day for my cynical nature.

    Losing Scola and Martin

I moved from H-town a while back. What are the sentiments around town about possibly losing Scola and Martin, but getting Pau. How does Rocket Fan feel about Stern's void?

Morey tries to trade for his top target every year and misses.

Exactly, he keeps coming up short. Anyone can say they were right there in a deal, prove it and actually get the pretty girl.

THIS. Hope to tank and hope we land a stud in the lotto (if Stern will let us take him)

Not sure, didn't he pull out of the Evan Turner pick one year?

Gotta keep trying, CD was able to do it, I am sure Morey can too.
