As much as the Heat did when they struggled early and didn't win it the first year? Or will the Warriors stay the golden boys and be even loved more now?
They won't be as loved as last year, but they'll still be loved. Won't catch nearly the same amount of criticism as the Heat did. Not even close.

They already started to get more hate during the playoffs, especially after Draymond repeatedly kicking people in the nuts, but I don't think the Warriors will catch as much heat as Miami did after this Durant signing. Miami got it partially due to 'The Decision' and the 'Not 1, not 2, not 3' boasts they made.
As long as they don't make the "not 1..not 2...not 3..." speech. The question is who can draw more bandwagoners?
things changed for them once Green started kicking people, Curry threw a tantrum, Thompson left to the locker room early and Ayesha went crazy. Social media started turning against the in the post season...so yeah this will only fuel it... They were all poster boys/wife/families/etc...but they showed a different side..
I just don't see them struggling either. Durant fits in perfectly with Curry and Thompson. I feel sorry for teams trying to cover those three players.
i thought i saw that change too...he got a lot of respect for beating the warriors and finally winning one for cleveland. Harder to hate him now.
Regular season won't matter even if they struggle. They're a lock for the playoffs so it'll all be about whether they win the championship or not.
...the side they showed was that of a spoiled kid who has ALWAYS got what they want all of a sudden not getting what they wanted. Is there any other roster in the league that has that many players who grew up in millionaire households? Not that it matters how they grew up, but I don't like anyone rich or poor who has that much arrogance and sense of entitlement. ....the frustrating thing is that arrogance and sense of entitlement is the very thing that makes them relatable to soccer moms and suburban kids alike and thus wildly popular - because America is racist and it's easier to route for the clean cut suburban boy from the nice neighborhood with a beautiful family than the kid who used basketball to get out of the hood and now has a long beard and hits up strip clubs on the frequent.
