I think so, he would of been fired today if not.

By that logic, Rick Dennison will be our OC next season too.

It's up to our head coach, Bill O'Brien, if he wants to retain Wade.

THIS....depending on what you emphasize, we MAY find an answer on THIS board.

I think the coaching staff WILL depend on WHO we HIRE

Wade is a Texas through and through. Hate to see him go. I'm hoping if they don't retain him as DC (doubtful) that they find a place for him in the organization. I think he'd be great in personnel somewhere. Wade is the guy that told us Watt would be a hall-of-famer way back when we drafted him and most everybody was questioning the pick.

He actually said it after his rookie season, and before his second season... but he still said it before he totally busted out and won the defensive player of the year.

Wade is good with talented players... but he doesn't have the ability to change his system all that much when players go out for injury, or simply don't fit his schemes.

    You never know!

But seriously I think it would be good for him to stay... Good defensive coaches are few and far between just ask the Cowboys.

I hope not. This team needs a really fresh start. Clean house.

I'm wondering how the defense would have looked had Cushing not gone down. If they were 100% positive Cushing can make a full recovery, I'd probably be OK with keeping Wade for another season.

The Cushing injury is a prop used to hold up the myth that Wade's defense has actually been special since he's been here at all.

They had one really good year defensively, and that was on the back of a season in which they had the fluke luck of playing a bunch of rookie and scrub QBs. This year was terrible and last year was terrible.

Once teams learned to throw against our defense it was game over.

BOB will want his own guy, to implement his scheme.
