Why should I? You all don't. You (meaning They) twist his words. I'm sure he'll come to his defense but I couldn't resist pointing up the disparity in what he said and what he was accused of saying. If you'll read my Myers-Briggs type profile you will understand why I am so compelled to do this. Here's a highlight: "Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists." The President's jobs record is nothing to run from. The unemployment rate is in the mid 5% range right now. That is below the average for the 70's, 80's and 90's. It is a very healthy number, actually. How do the liberals spin it? Easy -- they use the tech boom as the period for comparison (late 90's) to demonstrate that "no jobs have been created". It's ludicrous. An example: Astros win 110 games in 2005 Astros win 100 games in 2006 Liberals description of 2006: THE ASTROS HAVE NOT WON A SINGLE GAME. Insane? You betcha.
