Tmac's annual health problems are more of a concern to me than his ability to play in the system at this point. There is no good reason to think the team finally grasping the offense is because Tmac has been out. It's not like the team was playing this way when Tmac went to the bench to rest in prior games. As someone who always thought Rafer got an unfair amount of blame for the teams struggles, I will be the first to admit that even I didn't think Rafer would play as well as he has lately. But it isn't like Tmac prevented Rafer from driving all the way to the hoop or making his floaters in the past. So is Adelman's offense and coaching what lead to Skip's game suddenly improving, or is it Skip's improved play that is making Adelman's offense look good? A team with a PG that is shooting ~50% and scoring just over 17 points a game as Rafer has the last 5 games is going to make any offense look better. Either way hopefully the aggressive drives are something Rafer can build on when his outside shot is not going for him.
