I don't know if he will, but I certainly hope he does.

Sorry, I guess they forgot the rules that its okay to insult current player but not past ones.

When people start pissing matches, some undeserved people are going to get pissed on. Thanks, "'99ers."

I am DREAMing ... get it, dum dum?

Dream has his rings. An MVP & a few D-Player of the league awards too.

I keep waiting for the kid. Only now, the kid is now a man. Time to step it up.

Like sands through the hourglass ...

He will probably not be there.. He has to REHAB, he can't be in Houston for his rehab. It'll probably be tough for him, but I know he'll at least watch the games.

Vernon has brass balls, and was one of the main "CLUTCHCITY" players.

He practically built this website with his tough play.

    Minus MadMax, Houston=ChokeCity.

Until they prove otherwise, Yao, Shane, Luis, Ron etc... are open game.
Let's not even put Stacy Pippen in the discussion...

Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against Maxwell. I just hate seeing threads degenerate as much as you do.

    Never said that El dudo...
Maxwell was insulted/critiqued enough in his day(Trust me), but I think
his contributions to Houston put him in another stratosphere...

To give an ACTUAL response to the OP... this is from Tracy's blog (only relevant parts posted):

We never know how involved he actually is in writing this, and I couldn't care less about what you haters think, but I thought it was a decent read. Personally I don't care either way if he shows up in the playoffs.

I think Tracy should be there out of the slightest bit of decency and respect he may have for his teammates. Whether you like it or not, he is still on our roster and should be forced to show up. He doesn't need to stand up and cheer and he doesn't even have to pay attention to the game, but PLEASE make him do something for his 22-plus million dollars.

Yah I agree, again nothing against Maxwell. Haven't seen a player with balls like that (no homo). It's just the hate that goes aroud here with players like Brooks, Artest and you know who is incredibly unjustified.

Oh please, after everyone here is bishin about how he'll bring bad mojo and they don't even want him around... it's a loss either way. I can imagine threads reminiscent of past threads saying "McGrady didn't cheer enough in tonight's game."

Like I said, it doesn't make a difference to me what he does. He's not part of the current Rockets team.

Either way I don't think it matters. If he shows up guys are going to be upset. If we lose a game and he is there this board will flame him and its going to be his fault. If he doesn't show up he is still going to get flamed because he doesn't show support to his teammates blah blah blah. The haters on here will act like the media. They will find any little thing on a guy and make it bigger than it should be.

The man just had surgery and I believe should do the best he can to rehab and come back with rage. Yes it would be nice for him to show up but the guy has things to do. Him rehabbing is helping the team also.

    I agree.

With Brooks and Artest I see effort. Which, as a fan, is all I can ask for.
These guys have so much talent, and so many faults, but the effort is
always top notch. I just want these guys to represent Houston the right
way, and I feel Tracy has done a very poor job of this at times. It will
be interesting to see what happens with Tracy now, with or without the
    Rockets.

I'd hope he's behind the bench. He is still on the team and contributed to the season.
