We are the biggest joke in the NBA currently.

I thought making the playoffs was the difference in getting free agents to come here though according to many here

No, what would cost us free agents would be not even making the playoffs or if we didn't have money for them. Losing to the Warriors was expected and it's probably going to happen to other teams too.

Just ask yourself this question, if you're a star in this league will you come Houston?

We had a better chance putting the regular season to bed. Subjecting our unique set of problems to playoff scrutiny and intensity was the worst possible idea for the franchise, to say nothing of losing a useful asset (the pick) for package deals. I can't imagine a free agent wanting to come here if they have other offers.

    Bah!

Having our organization ripped to shreds by the national media isn't going to help. That's why I laughed when people thought being in the playoffs would help our free agent pitches. All of our faults from management on down are being exposed on a bigger platform.

But whats valuable is that the rockets will learn alot from this series. Sometimes u have to hit rock bottom and get embarrassed to learn what is wrong with yourself

We are not just losing, we are getting embarrassed. We are not the only team with cap space and this series shows just how far Houston is from competing. Losing 4 games in a row in embarrassing fashion where every player looks like a joke and your star player lives up to his national meme as a joke on defense does nothing but hurt us.

Sure, as along as Dwight Howard and JBB are gone. If either of them stay, no.

The Rockets have cap space to make a legit big 3 and can give FA stars a say over the new coach. That's pretty attractive even if they get beat by a 73 win team.

The overreacting is kind of hilarious though.

Absolutely I would, but I'm lazy and hate being held accountable.

In reality it never was. What is making the playoffs without a winning record going to do? Absolutely nothing. Rockets have no business being in the playoffs anyway and it's obviously showing for the people that still actually tried to believe they would make some noise against GS. The pick in the long run was always worth more than extending the season by 4 games.

This entire season will make the Rockets less attractive to FA's.

They are not on the cusp of winning anything.

No its not going to cost us FAs that we would have been able to sign if we hadnt made the playoffs alltogether.
