Thanks for setting the record straight, and good for the peaceful protestors who were trying to stop the violence.

It won't matter, our white alt-right friends here don't care who committed the violence - it's more important to tar the left than know the truth.

Best way to "stop the violence" at those kinds of things? Don't have them. Deal with disappointment like a big kid instead of throwing public temper tantrums and you won't attract "anarchist" groups.

There was a whole thread for that and I posted about being wrong about Trump winning. I never thought it possible.....and I still think that it shouldn't have happened.

I don't even think half of them voted. The majority of them won't do much politically, and will make other active movements look bad when they start smelling from living like the homeless while not working or needing to work.

So you are saying the Portland Police Dept was making this all up?

What happened to you? Did you get dropped on the head that it made you this way?

Is that what you took from what I said? I mean, I've known for a while that you are a bit slow, but surely you can do better than that.

I'm pointing out that if public temper tantrums are drawing a bad crowd, perhaps instead of throwing them a viable alternative would be to grow up and learn how to deal with disappointment like an adult. That way, the violence never happens and you don't have grown adults out throwing temper tantrums because they didn't get their way.

Seriously though, it's sad that I have to spell everything out to you like this. The fact that you likely made it through the public school system says that we need to totally overhaul the entire system.

Bobby - basic life tip, when you put a word in quotes, it means you're being ironic. For example, I bet people really think you're "smart" Bobby.

LOL.....here's a brotip, when a person puts a word in quotes, it can also be due to that person quoting someone else.....you know, like I was doing.

Seriously, how did you graduate high school? I'm absolutely certain you should have learned that at some point.

You know what, I'm gonna cut you some slack kiddo. I know it's late so maybe you are just drunk. Hopefully you sober up and realize the error of your ways in 12-24 hours.

    Good luck.

I read of people going to protest riots to try to meet and pick up women. Any luck?

Partly true. But... I protest outside police station against brutality, and gunman comes and shoots cop- my fault? Uh uh. Blame crazoid with gun. Personal accountability. Judas Priest caused kids' suicides?? NO!

But... they "doth protest too much,, methinks." (TY, W. Shakespeare! or E. de Vere!)

“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.” (TY, H.D. Thoreau!)

“The duty of youth is to challenge corruption.” (TY, K. Cobain! - also, In Utero!!!)

If there are angry protests outside of police stations that lead to officers being shot, I absolutely think those who show up should consider the consequences of their actions. If there were angry protests outside abortion clinics that led to gunmen showing up killing the staff then I'd suggest those people shouldn't do it anymore either. If your protest and rhetoric is riling people up to the point where violence is occurring, you should stop doing so.

That could be it, but I'm still thinking "Drunk" Sweet Lou is probably more accurate. He's been even more unhinged and ridiculous than usual lately.

Don't blame gun, blame shooter. Personal Responsibility= Very Important!!

    Don't blame protesters. Blame criminals.

    Steal tRUMP's Thunder- not crime.
Steal TV from Store during Protest= Crime.

Protesters - no crime, no punishment. Looters- crime and punishment (TY. F. Dostoyevsky!!- also, Brothers Karamazov- but too long, Fyodor).

    But...

Protestors- Time's Up. Go Back to Work. Go Back to School. Don't Block Road- can't get to weekly massage parlor visit. PLS- THX.

Yeah....personal responsibility is what I'm talking about. If you are engaging in protests that are leading to violence and damage to the community you should take some personal responsibility for being part of the problem. It's only made worse due to the fact that they have no legitimate cause to protest, they are just throwing a temper tantrum due to not getting their way.....and people are getting hurt as a result and property is getting damaged. If they were even halfway decent people, they'd be ashamed of themselves.
