Now it will be the opposite. They will support gov't crackdown of Muslims, youth, protesters, blacks, whomever. The gov't is good all of a sudden again. This was never about anything but power.

We're seeing the true colors of our right-wing friends here. They are now saying people protesting are treasonous for exercising their first amendment rights. Scary indeed.

Had Clinton won we'd see a far more violent wave of rioting and protests and they would defend it of course. These people are shameless hypocrites.

Who thinks/talks like this? Some Trump supporters obviously, but what decent person says this sort of purposely dense things? Sitting back and taking injustice, perceived or real, is not what this country was founded on. There are a lot of people who feel threatened but not just trump's election but what his election represents. If you either can't or won't acknowledge that it speaks a great deal more about you and your lack of empathy than it does them.

But go ahead and play internet tough guy, it's an endearing trait.

And now we have folks glossing over all the vitriol and hate-filled speech that was thrown Obama's way since the second he stepped on the national scene... wow. If you can't even look at yourself in the mirror with an honest eye there's obviously no chance you will look at others with any sort of equality.

    What a shame.

    Some are:

But it's too late. You can't change the rules after the results don't match what you want. Now if you want to get this changed for next time, then be my guess but I doubt it's going to happen.

What are you talking about? You obviously don't get it. I said that protesting will accomplish nothing and now I''m an internet tough guy. Get a grip!

I disagree. Total dramatic statement to justify what your party is doing right now. How ironic that you opened this thread looking for what the other party would do and your party starts acting up at your loss.

Btw – I voted and I didn’t vote for Trump. But I’m not going to disrespect the process. It’s the best thing we have going for this country. Trump won fair and square. 2008 was a vote for change. So is 2016. We’re not all happy but stop being a wuss and deal with it.

lol, what are dems doing now? Expressing the 1st amendment? They aren't the ones saying they would come with their guns if they lost.

I accept the results, unlike our president-elect, I don't think our voting system is rigged despite efforts from his party to suppress minority vote through long lines and voter id laws.

I actually think the electoral college makes election night fun. It was like watching a Texans 4th quarter drive when they were tallying the Michigan Votes.

Those lefties worried about what to tell their kids.....

How about telling them both candidates distorted the others background, positions and personal life to the worst possible extent to gain votes.

Neither candidate is as good or bad as their supporters and critics would have you believe. Print out the Podesta e-mail that proves politicians intentionally keep their supporters ignorant solely for political gain.

Talk to your kids about learning to think for themselves.

Where are the links that said the majority of dems thought Romney was sexist, racist and xenophobic? I don't doubt they are true but I am skeptical. There will always be SOME people who think that way about any republican candidate, but when the MAJORITY of democrats think that about Trump, it's not the same whatsoever.

I'm not whining and I didn't elect him but I have enough decency to accept the outcome.

Ignore that silly post, Republicans are the SAME way. Most are saying that Bernie would have been better, please...F off with that. Look at the things people said about Bernie and how he was communist socialist and Lenin reborn.

They've accepted the outcome but now they are protesting the person in office.

Grown men and women having tantrums that they didnt get their way...thats what this is... Wtf is "#notmypresident" ... Trump's election as the 45th President is a direct indictment on a failed Democratic Party and the inability of party leaders to have the pulse of a very divided nation. The fact is that if Clinton won, there would NOT be riots on the streets. Yea..I sure as heck wouldve been pissed/angry...but you justifying the violence and mass protesting based on a election held in a free society...is troubling.

You can't preface a hypothetical situation with "the fact is".

Secondly, who is justifying violence? People are justifying mass protests, which can be non-violent.

No one said anything about justifying violence btw.

Also there were plenty saying before that if Trump loses then there needs to be more. In fact Trump said it himself about the primaries.

"I think you'd have riots," Trump predicted on CNN Wednesday morning, describing what he thinks would happen if he was thrown over at a contested convention in Cleveland, Ohio in July."

"If you disenfranchise those people, and you say, 'I'm sorry, you're 100 votes short' ... I think you'd have problems like you've never seen before," he said. "I think bad things would happen."

I mean Trump himself thinks his followers are capable of it.

He's not even in office yet. He's done absolutely nothing as President at this point. It would make more sense for the protesters to at least wait for Trump to acually do something WHEN HE'S IN OFFICE.

I think Trump is a complete boob. But, Hillary herself said that we should at least have an open mind, and give Trump a fair chance to lead the country.

Show me some evidents that my side were threatened Barry en masses and took it to the streets protesting, burning and looting? There were some sporadic threats here and there and those folks got a visit from the FBI immediately. Go on Twitter right now and read the massive amount of threats against Mr Trump's life. Turn on your TV set and see for yourself the lawlessness of these degenerates that you called "young lefties". Once again I asked you to show me what my people did back in 08? The joke is on you!
