I would add to that: and not going broke in the process. The second round was won with our depth and we still have plenty of mobility and the 18th pick to improve this roster this summer. This team may be punching above its collective weight but we're nowhere near done. This team can only get better.
It's funny, I think The Clippers have been the most hated team in the league for the past couple of years. But once they beat the Spurs, it's like the Clippers got a bunch of respect and the title of most hated team fell on the Rockets.
Becuase every single player doesn't do that? That's some bull. Harden has had what 11-12 games of 20+ points. Not including the other areas. It's very nitpicky if anything.
OP, I've been thinking about this a lot, and I think the internet is particularly full of people addicted to negative thinking. http://www.cognitivetherapyguide.org/negative-thinking-patterns.htm The Big Four Types of Negative Thinking All-or-Nothing Thinking. "(The Rockets) have to do things perfectly, because anything less than perfect is a failure." Disqualifying the Positives. "(The Rockets) feel like one disappointment after another." Negative Self-Labeling. "(The Rockets) feel like a failure. (They are) flawed. If people knew the real (Rockets), they wouldn't like (them)." Catastrophizing. "If something is going to happen, it'll probably be the worst case scenario."
Add to that the whole CH speil: bringing up negatives is being objective. So all my negatives are correct.
