rebuild seasons are pointless to watch if they're going to trade everyone.

Hey when we played OKC and Harden went off for 40+ in that victory. The fan energy was electric. The Yota was on fire.

Indeed pimpn, now its going to be a lil harder for real fans to get good tickets. But hey its not going to stop a playa though. I have the hook up, so I will be in the building as usual.

Nobody is saying Houston fans can compete with Jazz or Spur fans. But if the Rockets are able to consistently put a championship contending product on the floor we will be selling out and fan energy won't be a concern.

They won a title the season before last. That carries over for a while for season ticket renewals.

If we were at 92% then why did the lower bowl almost always have absent seats.

That's sold seats not filled seats. Corporation tickets.

Yeah, so I don't think this is gonna be a problem.

The Rockets, CEO Tad Brown said, will sell out every home game this season. For the Rockets in the Toyota Center era, that is a huge proclamation.

“We’re further ahead in our sales process at this time than we ever have been,” Brown said heading into the start of team workouts Saturday. “The season-ticket base is up 34 percent. We are close to being sold out of season tickets. And we are pretty confident with the excitement that this team has already created in the market that we’ll be sold out of every game.”

Also a lot of the lower bowl ticket holders spend lots of time in the lounge areas up at the top of the lower bowl hanging out rather than in their seat.

Ticket prices are the only problem I see. I go to nuggets games all the time and often times pay as little as $2. You could never do that at Toyota center

I'm glad that the rockets will be sold out......I just hope the fans that do have tickets actually show up on time and cheer for the team. The lower level sections seem to be empty even on games that they claim are sold out.

You could last year. Just stand outside of TC and using flashseats. I saw some tickets sell for less than $5 at tipoff. Saw club seats go for $30 once too

our fans are well paid suburban folk who want a nice night out. they are the 'what have you done for me lately' kind when it comes to cheering. its houston in a nutshell, really.

some ppl are gifted tickets who dont care about basketball.

ppl who really care about basketball in houston mostly cant afford rockets games

I was at the game last night against the raptors. I was surprised to see at the huge number of fans that left the game at the END OF REGULATION. We're going into overtime and you want to go home?

It was pretty empty by the time we got to 2nd overtime. You can really tell who the real fans were that stayed until the very end.

So dissapointing to know we have a championship contender and people just dont seem to care.
