Why? 8-8 would be the first non losing season in franchise history. You'd fire the coach for that? I'm guessing either 8-8 or 9-7. No playoffs this year, but definitely building towards it.
Tough schedule, but we will get stronger with every game. I'm looking at us slipping into the playoffs at 9 - 7 or 10 -6.
I thinkthey have an extremely easy schedule. The only teams they face that were above .500 last year were the Chargers, Colts, and Saints.
They went 6-10 a year, and they are MUCH improved in every area of the football team. I think they win between 9 and 12 games. The Saints can go from 3-13 to 11-5 and the NFC title game, the Chargers can go from 4-12 and the #1 pick in '03 to 12-4 and the division championship the next yr. There is always a team that makes a huge turnaround, and this yr it is the Texans. We are a good team and we have an easy schedule. Go Texans!

How can we beat INDY once and lose ONCE to the Jacksonville Kitties if they're already customers ?!?!? Give me some of that sh*t you're smoking, brother.
the decision that if after the first 3 games we are struggling to pressure the QB and the D-line play is stinking and we are 1-2, and Mario is getting handled by single blockers and Babin or Orr look better when they are in there; the decision that maybe Mario shouldn't even be starting. Because if he does start and he doesn't step it up then I don't see us as a playoff team. He looked better on the other side against Dallas, so maybe that is the decision he needs to make- at least get him in a better position to wreck havok. I would trade him straight up for Demarcus Ware right now, and that is sad.
