Is there anyway that they both can lose???

-oddly enough, I am a die-hard Rockets fan, but this season they are leaving me no other choice but to find another team to cheer for outside of the hated few in the west. I my friends am officially rooting for the Bulls.

The Spurs are catching teams off guard much like the Hornets did a few seasons ago when they made their deep playoff run. I'm not that convinced that ehe Spurs would even make it out of the first round of the playoffs this year.

The Lakers role players are actually better than last year, at least on paper. But Kobe is going down hill, so is Artest. They look very beatable. But they might just pick it up when the playoffs come.

Maybe you're right, but a team with Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker that is coached by Pops should not be catching anyone off guard. These guys might be old, but they're proven champs.

Lakers lost The Machine, so I'll go with the Spurs.

    good point..
anything can happen from now till June.
Let's see the health of both teams heading into the series if they meet each other.
But at full strength I would still have to go with the Lakers only by a slight margin just because they have Kobe and I don't see him letting his team lose the close ones.

lakers aren't looking good this year, if they can get their **** together they might get out of the first round.
