This will do a lot of damage because basketball has the most questionable calls more then any other sport. It's also the toughest sport to call. There's so much nuiances to the game, and determining contact isn't always easy. The number of rules is immense, and the refs are only human. I think the refs do a good job and it's ashame that what happened will have so much impact. It's a great game, and the refs have a job none of us could do better. Stern will now have to consider instant reply in the last two minutes of a game in which a coach can question a call made by the refs - that's the only way now to restore trust.
