I don't know if you guys know or care about this but Hakkem's real estate speculation deal with a piece of property downtown pisses me off. He promised to develop some land he recieved in part because of his name. Yes he didn't have to develop anything but part of the reason it was sold to him at the deal it was is because he promised to make something. Instead the rest of downtown has developed nicely in the last 5 years and he's done nothing. Hell I don't care if he built the world's biggest mosque just don't sit on land in the middle of a quickly renewing downtown and sell it for to much later on. GREEDY and unproductive. capitilism is great and all but thats just too much. He broke a promise to Houston. Greedy also is what he was to the Rockets. They deserve some loyalty too. He obviously didn't care about there future competitiveness beyond him. He said at the beginning of the season to keep the team together and not go 4 C Webb. We decided to keep the team together. But if we sign him for his demanded money we can't really resign our guys (like Mo... well okay now that looks like no big deal:mad: we also were lookin to resign Shandon:rolleyes: ) anyway his ego stood in the way of that. By the way we all know Hakkeem ain't the Dream these days but is servicable enough in the East and compared to the dregs manning the NBA 5 spot. Great for him but how do you think his contract is gonna look next year or the one after. The guys sense of reality and fairness is shot. The Rocket fans deserve better even though not enough of them go to games and alot are fair weather types. Thats it.
