Cap space isn't the same as "selling" per se, at least not to me. That rule seems to be in place to prevent teams from selling picks for pocket money. We are gonna turn around and use that space to add a player that helps us. I really am surprised this isn't a more common thing in the NFL, given how painful the cap can be.
