Hey guys....last time I checked spending money doesn't mean you will win anything. See Texas, Baltimore, and Mets. Baseball is different from other sports in the sense that having the best players doesn't always mean you will win. Baseball is much more of a chemistry sport than anything else. Spending money doesn't mean you will win if you're stupid about it, but not being able to spend money does mean you almost assuredly won't win consistently. There's a reason that the 8 teams that make the playoffs (outside of last year's aberration) are almost always taken from the top 12 or 13 spenders.
