Not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but you could say this for pretty much any team in the league.

The real question is: Will chemistry improve in Howard and Harden's second year together?

No revolving door of assets is going to affect change as much as the two cornerstones cementing the team's foundation.

In the end the role players shouldn't matter. It's up to the superstars to lead and the management and coaches to make it work.

    We should be fine.

What I don't understand is why our glue guy is also our coach.

I guess you weren't around in 2005 and certainly not in 1995.

Yao and Mac had nobody and Dream and Drexler had some of the most memorable ones in Rockets history.

Having good role players is critical to winning a series and ultimately advancing to win a ring. Just look at what the Heat did and what the Cavs are doing.

Since the day he decided he was playing for a contract instead of for the Rockets. It's not rocket science.

Team chemistry will improve when they hold each other accountable and worry about being professionals - rather than pregame dance moves or whatever... all about respect...jus sayin...

All players play for a contract, Ariza is a perfect example of that....

This year, we retroactively realized that he knew he'd be a FA this year and played purely for a new contract.

    Keep telling yourself that.

You conveniently forget how many times Chandler was quoted for asking Maury how to get paid. How to get out of his contract. Seriously, two very different players with WAY different motivation.

Thats like saying you can only be so invested in work knowing your work may not be your work for very much longer.

    That is a stupid idea.

I noticedChandlers personality become more and more fixated on himself after his modeling career took off. You could just see it in his mannerisms and the way he played the game. He has too high of an opinion of himself and I am sure that was transparent to the rest of the team as well. They will get over it once they start winning together.

I can't help but think that didn't go down because of the "under-table" deal to get Howard and Chandler paid.

I 100% agree with u. Without the constant juggling and collecting assets. We would not have been contenders today. He is still looking for the last peice of the puzzle. I wish he can get al horford from Atlanta by trading t- jones and sum other assets. That will be Houston twin towers.
