No F* tanking! We want a winning culture in this city. If players are coming here to suck then send them in packages to keep getting better. Boston didn't tank and got isiah thomas and now Kyrie and Haywood. We didn't tank and we got Harden. It really depends how Savy our GM is. Even some teams that tank and get number one picks are still in bad positions. Kyrie still couldn't get his cavs into the playoffs as a number 1. Anthony Davis is still strugling. The Blazers and their ability to pick is also a joke or just the worst luck in any franchise history. They did not build the city of Houston by tanking and sucking. I applaud Les for pushing this franchise to always do its best. He may have done it on a cheap budget, but he did his best.

Losing itself won't be an option, as his mob friends will pressure every opponent into defeat.

All I know is the Rockets managed to rebuild stronger and faster than probably 90% or more of the other teams who chose to tank over the last decade (and are still terrible). And the Rockets still managed to put a good over-achieving product on the floor that was fun to watch and a team that fans could be proud of.

Just shows that having a good GM trumps tanking.
