It only looked like the standard two cheek kiss because Smith was trying to avoid the guy's lips. Smith was trying to keep his face to the side and every time he turned the guy would turn back into Smith's face. In the end the guy kissed Smith's neck and that's what finally set him off.
I'd like to see that reporter try that with Bjork... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pYyyqIZTvYY?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Pretty standard reaction. Guy stepped over the line pulling a stunt and got checked. A little slap never hurt anyone but it hurt the guy's pride, not exactly the reaction he was fishing for. Reminds me of when Tom Cruise got sprayed by a guy posing as a reporter or Sasha Barron Cohen threw crap all over Ryan Seacrest. Society would be better off if line steppers got checked once in a while. The sad thing is the standard white American male is so neutered he would have probably suppressed his gut reaction and not done anything. It looks like what set Will off is the guy was aggressively pulling at his head when Will was trying to pull away. The kiss might have pissed him off but no dude likes when someone tries to manhandle him. Will Smith has been doing press for decades and he's been to Europe for dozens of premiers, lol @ internet dudes trying to explain to Will what a European greeting is. I'm sure Will knows better than most of us who rarely if ever go to Europe. He just didn't appreciate getting manhandled on camera by some idiot pulling a stunt.
How can he slap?!? Spoiler <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XiwXb26mloQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> NSFW language
Why do they keep showing the black girls in the crowd? Why? The same ones... again... and again... and again... and one last time, just two of them. And everybody else... just once... WHY? racist.
