True, but if 99% of the world said dogfood tastes good, then wouldn't it be a fact? In my opinion, then, it is factual to say: "Someone not seeing a movie because one of the actors cast in it is partly, mostly, or even totally in the film due to nepotistic reasons is narrow-minded, given that it support a line of thinking that lacks a breadth of view and isn't open to new lines of thinking." Perhaps you disagree, though you are somewhat biased being the other side of the discussion. If the majority agreed with the above, would it become fact? Anyway, too crazy and useless a line of thinking. I'd agree with a general consensus that Will Smith's kid kind of annoys me, partly because of the nepotistic aspects of it, partly because he has an annoying Bow Wow quality about him, and partly because Will has become increasingly annoying over the years. All that said, the second trailer looked okay.
I understand you on the Nepotism. I saw happyness . .. he was ok in it Honestly I am seeing more and more 'drew barrymores' [children and grandchildren of stars who are kind of forced down your throat] what . . . is Hollywood becoming Britian???? Rocket River
no... there's always been good majority of people that have been so inclined to like a great deal of crap...
God I hate this stupid little kid. YOu just want to punch his little face in The Day the Earth Stood Still.
This international trailer explains why the Karate Kid is not yet the Kung Fu Kid... <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="VIvJECzCjhN0zw" width="425" height="339"><param name="movie" value="http://www.movieweb.com/v/VIvJECzCjhN0zw"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.movieweb.com/v/VIvJECzCjhN0zw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="339"></embed></object>
The character, not the actor. He was supposed to be a sympathetic character in that film. You were supposed to feel sorry for him. Instead, he came off as just a little ******* that you wished they killed off.
yea I didn't think he acted that well in it either. The Character and the Acting were both atrocious Rocket River
I like that trailer. Thanks for posting. I think this movie has some promise if the characters are well developed.
Also want to add that, as far as the whole Karate/Fung-Fu thing goes, I read that Jaden's character is supposed to know some ruimentary karate in the beginning (from lessons or something). I guess after the other boys kick his ass a few times "The Karate Kid" probably becomes their derogatory nickname for him. Just a theory.
Mannn Will Smith's son can not act period . It feels like I'm watching an episode of Full House when the Olsen twins were like 3, "You got it dude".
