Believe it or not, that one was actually released to theaters. And yeah, it starred Hillary Swank as the "Next Karate Kid."

Karate Kid 3 had the best ending of any of the Karate Kid movies imo.

Very amusing. Now I have to rewatch the damn movie or go on Wikipedia to fact check.

Obviously nothing measures up to KK I, but all of the KK movies with Morita and Macchio were special just because of their chemistry.

and I said "many" as in not exclusive or particular to one race.. as in overall.. there are "representitives" for young people of all races.. why just in the disney channel alone....

on your, " he's a good kid ", I did use the word "or."

This kid is not "coming along fine as an actor"... in any way, shape or form... he seems to be getting worse as he ages... the opposite pattern of untapped potential..

but, if you rather believe otherwise for the sake of not "getting into b*ll*****" so-called "hating".. all right.. let's just not say things that aren't true for the sake of it.. it's exactly that level of false/misplaced praise that garners you the "lil bow wows", "lil waynes", "50 cents" of this generation...

we all want to have something proper for our children to look to.. however, let us not be so desperate where we settle for anything instead..

Which would you put trust in, the son of Will Smith, or the son of Suge Knight?

They're kids. Even if its going along with the bubble gum Miley Cyrus nepotism, they're young people. If they did have depth at so young an age theyd probably be like River Phoenix or Corey Haim down the line.

that's quite of an assumption... there's been naturally talented kids that didn't end up like either of those two..

then why not be satisfied with what's already out there...? there's really no shortage of hollywood/disney/nickelodeon bred mediocrity... no matter what race.. children who are simply up there on the screen for knowing the right people.. only to grow up to be the wrong people... adding to the clutter..

As long as I don't find any "lost episodes" of "The New Happy Days" with Jackie Chan playing "Al" I'll be okay with this.

Lighten up, people. It's a popcorn flick, not the Ten Commandments.

New trailer, not bad but still should change the title to something about Kung Fu...

So, he's teaching him Kung Fu in Beijing (makes sense) but they're still calling it the Karate Kid (doesn't make sense).

Wow, that trailer looks great. I really wasn't interested in this, I'm not down with any actors providing legacy for their kids, even if they are black. I hate it just as much as I hate it in coaching and any other craft you see it alot.

I've never seen pursuit of happiness for that reason. but that trailer looks fairly awesome and i'm going to take my kid to see this.
