Jessica Biel = hijack acceptable list.
    so...
I see what you're saying. But then who out there now, that's a GOOD young white actress, has a Wonder Woman body anyways? Not the Rose Mcgowans or Shannon Elizabeth types but an A-list actress?
Also its not Wonder Woman proportions but,

Beil doesnt appear that breastically challenged to me.

Now, though that'd honestly pique my interest enough to watch on cable :p, casting Joe P might be an automatic revocation of Will Smith's SAG card.

Roxane Mesquida, an A-list actress, just not in Hollywood.

Odd, I see absolutely no physical flaws on Jessica Biels body whatsoever. I'd love to be given to opportunity to try, though.

I sure hope Jackie Chan's heart is in this one and he's not making another movie he doesn't like (e.g. Rush Hour movies).

I also think it's a terrible idea to remake this movie but that's what is big right now...retreading old, tired storylines into a new imagining of a story. I'm sure Hollywood execs are jumping at this idea. They probably feel the title alone is going to be enough of a draw. Then, throw in Will Smith directing and Jackie Chan for the martial arts master. We've got a winner!

I bet it does really well because America is f-ing stupid. They will eat this sh*t up all over again.

If they wanna make something similar fine....I mean Sidekicks wasn't too far off from what Karate Kid was...but to call it a remake, give it the same title, same characters...is just beyond stupid...the movie is a classic....now if they wanna remake Karate Kid III or Next...go right ahead.

I'm actually pretty desensitized to all the remakes now. There has been so many of them, I just don't care any more.

infatuation you mean? if so.. I don't see how pointing out her flaws in a role that exposes said flaws.. without capitalizing on her one strength.. can be construed as "infatuation"..

you're right, there are no GOOD young white actresses with a Wonder Woman psychique.. but perhaps someone with enough hips to make up for the extra width in shoulders? or just someone with more narrow shoulders to make up for the lack of hips..?

as for her breasts.. they're not that bad.. but in context.. not that good.. and..well it's all on the outfit.. notice that in the picture you provided her hips don't look justifyiable worthy of criticisizing.. but we've all seen her in pictures and scenes where she has a little less on and is standing or walking up straight.. and know better..

Some things are better left untouched. There's a reason why the original is a classic. Fail Will Smith.

Goodness, the guy's just trying to get his kid some acting gigs. Frankly, if the kid's black, that might be a little harder for him than other legacy actors like Barrymore, Jolie, Scott Caan or Sheen/Estevez. And most of the people this is targeted to are too young to have seen Karate Kid or considered it a "classic."

Eh, didnt think it looked too terrible. Granted, nothing will ever, ever come close to the original...but, I have to say that it looked better than what I had in my mind.

    I'll watch it.

The trailer was a little better than I had expected. Not saying much though still.
