LOL. So you actually have personal problem with a certain group of people. Looks like you are the one who are in this personally. Where is the mirror in your home? You come across to me as kinda hypocritical here. I hope it is not in your personality.

This may be one of the strangest posts I've ever seen. And extremely condescending, to boot. If you're trying to create a personal problem, you're the man for the job. Please go back and read the thread and find that, although my opinion isn't popular, I haven't personally attacked anyone - unlike yourself.

Taking something personally generally implies rising to anger, or letting the conversation degenerate to insulting each other's character. In my posts that you referenced, I am taking a different stance against a school of thought - not against listed names of posters. Do you understand that distinction?

"Where is the mirror in your home?" I try to avoid saying things that silly. Where, in your post, do you discuss anything remotely relevant to the topic of this thread? This will be the first and last time I do so. Please discuss the topic and don't embarrass yourself further.

Know what? I usually do not base my comment on what someone says just on a particular post or even on a particular thread only. Instead, I follow the pattern of that person's post history. Lately, I have seen your expression of upset against these "Yao supporters" multiple times in various threads. That's why I came to my reasoned conclusion that this topic is very personal to you. You have the right to deny but I know what I said is true. Have a nice day.

Yao Ming was an excellent player for the Houston Rockets, a lifetime Rocket, and had a tragic end to his career.

Some people believe that he is unquestionably deserving of HOF status and jersey retirement. Some people don't. I am the latter, and as such I represent this contradictory opinion through posts on this message board, usually in conversation with those of the opposite school of thought. Is this taking things personally, or is this using a message board for its purpose? I don't mean to offend people, but can't help if they are offended by differences in opinion.

I am not denying anything except the idea that I am personally attacking other posters, or following around certain posters. If you're keen on reading my posts in various threads, please also remember that they are relevant and respectful - you can drop the 'high road' act. I'm certainly no better or worse a person than you for my views. So let's avoid the slander. Let's discuss opinions of Yao, not of me.

napalm_black, I'm not sure which thread it's in. But I do remember making a post dissing Vernon Maxwell. And you responded sarcastically with, and I paraphrase, "ironic that a Yao defender would would complain about a clutch city hero".

So please, you do attack posters personally. Now I'm not saying I'm any better, since in my thousands of posts I've written some stuff I'm not proud of. But on this subject, I must say you have something against fans of Yao Ming for whatever reason.
