KochPAC, Koch Industries’ political offshoot, gave $10,000 total to Bachmann’s congressional committee and to ‘MichelePAC’, her action committee, on one day in May, a month before she officially threw her hat in the ring. So far, Bachmann is the only declared presidential candidate to have received cash from the Kochs this quarter, although they’ve previously supported Texas governor Rick Perry, who is widely thought to be mulling a bid. Perry made a speech at Koch Industries’ secretive June summit in Vail, adding fuel to speculation that he may soon declare candidacy.

Not worried, the ultimate goal here is to replace Palin on Fox News.

Didn't we hear that about 12 years ago from another Republican Texas Governor?

when you take a once great state like texas and turn it into a craphole while the ****tards keep voting you into office, you'd have an ego too. he probably feels he's invincible.

The sad thing is, I'm starting to see the feasibility of his nomination. Everyone else is crazy or unelectable save Romney, who is weird and will never make it through some of the GOP primaries.

Perry is crazy enough and has enough money to make it. I can see the GOP establishment coalescing around him after a few primaries and certainly in response to one of the true crazies like Bachmann.

Taking into fact that unemployment is still relatively high, I'd have to say most people should say yes. Anyone who has been putting away money for retirement (money being the biggest key people look at when thinking about their life situation) have to be very happy with the last 2+ years, the stock market has gained an enormous %.

I know that Jr signed 152 death warrants during his governorship. Has Perry surpassed that number yet?

"Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment - this was the time - when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America."

Hey, why don't you go even further?

"Only thing we have to fear is fear itself."-FDR
"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country"-JFK

Those dastardly liberals, with their big progressive and idealistic egos. How dare they hope for a better future?
