In orlando all he did was play transition offense and thrived at it. he adjusted he's game during the gundy era to a slower paced style due to the teams needs. during the 22 game streak, he was very good at running the lanes again. the guy can play both styles

lol, that was the tmac coming off a humiliating jazz playoff loss, and he still had some athleticism. If your going to do that, you might as well post some orlando vids.

In orlando he scored 32ppg/ 29ppg leading the league in scoring as well. he didn't scrape the 30 point mark once last season. Please try to understand that this is a completely diff tracy.

According to Grover he's back to his Raptors days. You know those were grasshopper days.

I think he'll come off the bench 4-5 times, and then he'll take battier's spot and start the games

I believe it when I see it. Until then I am going to trust Grover. He's got a better track record. ;)

he did. he scored 30 v. portland in game 3. and he drove a lot earlier on and had some alley oops. the knee just got worse as the season went on.

if he's back healthy, it's unrealistic to expect the tracy of even 04-05 in terms of athleticism, but it's not far-fetched to expect the tracy of 07-08 in terms of athleticism.

That was probably one and half seasons ago. You might recognize ugly Cook in the golden jersey. :D

How is it going to different when he'll be in best best health he has been since 05 season. running the lanes and puhing the ball is something he can do. put oter factors like he's amazing court vision in the open court, guys like chase, ariza and battier will get open looks all day and night.

I think everybody relates coach Adelman to his tenure with the Sacramento Kings, but truth is, he also coached the Trail Blazers and went to 2 NBA finals with that team and one conference finals.

That got me thinking that I think Adelman might see Tmac playing in a mold similar to Clyde Drexler's in the portland team. And Clyde scored over 20pts in that team, had over 5 assists and over 6 boards. Now I don't know if Tmac will come back and play in a form similar to that, but I think he has the skills that might fit that role. And maybe Adelman can picture him playing that role too.

All I'm saying is that the coach will try to use his best players, and provided a return in a decent shape, he is one of those for this team.

But bottom line is, it would be sweet to see tmac playing that Drexler type of role, or something close to it

He just got done training with one of the best trainers in the world who got Jermaine Oneal looking like an allstar again. I say we put Tmac in a starting role and let him do work again. He would fit this offense fairly well if he learned how to limit is shots per a game to around 15 per. Plus we all know he can throw some nice passes to chuck, as he did many times b4 chuck was an offensive weapon.

    AB
    Trevor Ariza
    TMAC
    Scola
    Chuck Wagon

That lineup what put up some points plus it would make our second unit very solid. Plus when our offense becomes to look stagnant we have someone who can score every time down the court in Tmac. I just hope TGrovers miracles worked on Him to.

I did not define whether he is a selfish player or not. What I know is T-Mac had more balltouches under JVG than under Adelman. He did complain that he needs to have the ball to play last season when he did not have much touches as before, while the current system needs to share the ball, needs the ball movement, needs the balanced offense and needs the team concept more than in JVG era.
