Yep that goes for me, that's why I want to see them crash and burn so I can go by and piss on them while they burn!!
I actually that that Francis was going to turn Orlando into Philly-lite. He does have incredible scoring ability, and is sensational off the dribble. But I think Orlando have run into the crux of the problem with Francis: (1) he doesn't score quite well enough to let him handle the ball constantly, like you can an Iverson or Jordan (in his early years) (2) He's far better off the dribble than as a catch-and-shoot guy, so he's not a really great two guard. I've ultimately come to believe the turnovers are almost incidental. He's not a real PG, but I think he could make that irrelevant if he could manage 30 a game instead of 23. I'm not sure you could win a title that way - but he could be the centerpiece of a pretty good team if he could just score a tiny, tiny bit better.
Bottom line: Francis has had problems assimilating teammates into the game plan. It happened in Houston and it' happening in Orlando. He doesn't quite know his role. It's comical to think the pillar of the TMac trade has been uprooted by a rookie PG. Orlando people can rationalize the trade all they want, Houston got the better end of the deal by a mile.
I'd wager that Steve wants out, and they'll find out quick that moving Steve to the 2 spot doesn't make him a more effective player.. His numbers have been pretty steady this year, but he doesn't seem to be playing with quite the same intensity. Maybe I'm just seeing what I want to. Evan
Here's their next 6. Not too unreasonable to see them losing 5 of these. We all know Charlotte is a tough out. That back-to-back could be huge for them at Sacramento at Clippers at Seattle at Charlotte Charlotte Phoenix
I say they fall out of the playoff race and SF3 gets traded away in the off season, which is quickly approaching for the Magic. They had good chemistry with Mobley but once they traded him away it all went to hell.....
