Will Morey get fired?

Tilman already publicly said "Morey is my guy" or something to that effect.

For all the people decrying Tilman's morals: If Morey is fired now, THIS would definitely give your jimmies something to be rustled over. Not the twitter post stating how Morey's views don't reflect the Rockets org.

 

But then he liked some Fire Morey comments. I hope he was being cheeky. oh boy..

Probably not right now, American fans would be mad. Gotta wait for Morey to make some other mistake, then fire him. That way everyone is happy.

 

Money talks though. It's the China market that puts the Rockets on the Forbes list of top franchises every year despite everyone hating them in the US.

 

I also think that's very likely at this point.

The value of the team and the cheapness of the owner are separate things.

Guess what. I couldn't give two ***** about the owner's profit margins then, nor should Rocket fans. Owner can't threaten to leave Houston because there is no other market that currently does not have a NBA team that would be a more profitable market than Houston.

 

So Morey's assembled team has to deliver in the Playoffs at all cost now. Fair game.

yes. yes. I understand. I'm talking about the motivation Tilman would have to keep or fire Morey. That's all. Money is a big motivator for Tilman.

 

What! Who are you? Why do grown men worship other grown men? Morey is REPLACABLE. He ****ed up so he has to deal with that. Next time, he knows better.
