Haha yeah. I can see us getting JJ next year though unless Sixers offer him crazy money again and he doesn’t see us as contenders. If only we could’ve traded someone for CJ Miles. He’s a monster.
first of all, NO tucker is more important to our team than Miles who i think Moute play the same style and better defensively. Most importantly, Toronto won't do the deal you know why? because they let go of Pj Tucker in favor of CJ Miles so it won't happen either way.
You mean the guy who was 15th in the league last year at 41.1% on 5 attempts, just two clicks from CJ Miles career high of 41.3%. Beware though, if he does, the Barkley and Shaq crowd will say we're wasting him. As @SamFisher predicts, every time Paul shoots a spot-up three, Shaq will say: "That's a waste of a great player right there." Here's Sam's prediction of the TNT halftime show tonight. I think I've read this 10 times so far at least, too perfect
It's like an episode of Black Mirror on here these days. - An incredible 3pt shooter is joining the team, his name is Chris Paul. - Chris Paul's offense will get our shooters more open. - Chris Paul's defense will have this team not needing to score as much. - Chris Paul's minutes will reduce the tired legs we've been seeing at the end of games.
My money is on the "buy out candidates" after the February trade deadline. I am keeping an eye on JOE JOHNSON of the Jazz.Yeah he is old, but he can be a scoring 3/4 that the Rockets are lacking. He is familiar with MDA. ISO JOE would be a nice add to the 2nd unit offense to keep the bench unit scoring.
Even if we get said specialist, if the Rockets go cold so does he. There is no amount of players we can put on our roster that will like a spark when Rockets go cold. Its Murphy's law or something like that.
I've always wanted Kyle Korver. 43% career three point shooter and is always willing to shoot with just an ounce of daylight. He doesn't need to be somewhat open like Ryno. Would be absolutely incredible next to Harden and CP3, but he is unfortunately one of the worst defenders in the league at this point. He's also 36 and under contract with the Cavs until he's 38. But if Lebron leaves this summer I imagine he'll be available for trade. Would he be worth it at that point?
