Yes. No point in trading them early. Unless Melo or Lebron have made a decision these guys are staying right where they are.

I'm saying yes, just in case they can be used in a sign and trade for one of our FA targets. I'd love to see things happen just for the sake of having something to talk about, but it may not be wise to make a move if Morey truly does have options to trade them later.

Comment by Greg Anthony on the NBATV Mock Draft tonight: the center in a triangle offense needs to be able to make good decisions at the high post. That's why they traded Chandler. I don't think Asik fits either in that system.

    Lin is undervalued.

But there are teams that would like to have him.

If all else fails, we have Hinkie and his Philly team.

Well, it looks like Asik will technically still be a Rocket after draft night.

Lin won't be moved prior to draft night.

IF the Rockets need to move Harden to secure Lebron + Melo, whether they need to clear more salary or not will depend on how much money they want.

If they're taking discounts Harden will have to be moved, but knowing Morey he will want Lin in his back pocket since we'll be losing our only other guard that can create.

If Lebron and Melo demand higher salaries (possible) or we can only get one or the other, then Lin will be moved as necessary.

And if neither Melo or Lebron sign on, expect Lin to be kept unless it's to get a specific player.

Lin can serve multiple roles in the potential transactions and on the roster, so expect Morey to hold out for maximum flexibility. Also, Lin wasn't looking to be traded. Asik clearly wanted out.

Lin should be gone by or on July 1st. I do not see the need to keep him IF the organization is looking to sign big FAs.u
