what mess? Just fans over reacting....overall, the staff likely will be better than what we've had. Could it have been better? Maybe..but i doubt this leads to a terrible season. Everyone involved knows how embarrassing this season was and wants to do better. Fans just need to wait it out..we still need to see what they do with the players.

I think he's taking a larger role because he no longer trusts Morey. I would rather he not fire Morey and just let him do his job but if you are going to interfere you might as well hire someone else.
I honestly don't think most people who go to Rockets games take D'Antoni or Les Alexander as seriously as this forum does. They'll probably still be cheering for the Rockets as long as they win, and if they don't win, they won't care about the Rockets ... just like every year. I mean, I honestly doubt Joe Shmoe fan barely even knows who D'Antoni is... lol.

Mauri is the villain Les gave Mauri full control and look what that resulted in - Adelman gone, worst coach in NBA McFail hired, JBB hired, no chemistry in the team, a crappy gimmick style of play with no defense, drafting a bunch of busts, a superstar who plays no D, is never held accountable and has the organization by the cojones, bad mouthing the one marquee free agent that signed..... Les is far from perfect and may be a villain but he is not the biggest villain here, that is Murray We need to clean house top to bottom and bring this franchise back to respectability
He walked into 2 championships and people gave him a pass all these years. I wish he would have sold the team a long time ago. He's a horrible owner.
