To all the people who think that this current Cavs team is the supporting cast which LBJ had this year. SHUT THE F UP, YOU ARE ONLY EMBARRASSING YOURSELVES. Thank you.

Starting lineup yesterday for the Cavs:
    C- JJ Hickson
    PF- Antwan Jamison
    SF- Christain Eyenga
    SG- Manny Harris
    PG- Ramon Sessions

Notice how only two of these players were even with the team last year (and one joining near the end of the season). One of those two players are playing out of position (and was a bench guy on last years team to begin with).

Shaq/Big Z may be old but they would be a HUGE upgrade to anybody the Cavs have at C.

Delonte would probably be an upgrade over Gibson/Harris (he did play 60 games last year which is quite alot).

Mo Williams has been in and out of the lineup, Varaejao out for the year. Those guys healthy would also make a difference.

The Cavs actually had a capable supporting cast to LeBron. It is NOT the same team as this year. Seriously, STOP IT. JUST STOP IT!

They Cavs played very will z and shaq out. If lebron was still there they win close to 60 games.

Antwan Jamison has played in 46 games this yaer I'm not sure where you got he's missed half of the season from.

They still sucked when Mo and Varejao did play.

If they still had Mike Brown they still would not be good.

Big Z and Delonte would not make much of a difference on this team.

they were sucking with the whole team. if they had varajao the whole year, obviously they wouldn't go on this losing streak. but they would still suck pretty bad, and at most would win 20 something games.

now they might now win 12 or 13.

it's up to him. he doesn't watch the cavs enough to understand how great lebron is and how much of a one-man team that was (it was the greatest one man team ever apparently b/c they won 60+ games 2 straight years).

he should pay, to improve the site that is.

    Historically....

Voters want a one-man-machine leading his team to at least a home court seed in the playoffs. They also tend to vote for guys after at least one prior season "proving" themselves - it's uber rare to see a guy win MVP after not being in the top 5 voting the year before.

LeBron playing with Wade hurts both their causes in a big way, similar to how Kobe gets less votes now that Gasol is there.

I think Amare is going to get shafted a bit since he was never seen as an MVP type before, and the Knicks may have improved a lot but aren't likely to break 50 wins.

I'd have to think that Durant would run away with the voting if it were to happen today.

your argument that wade hurts lebron's cause, but yet westbrook would hurt durant's cause even more.

westbrook has been the thunder's best overall player, and most consistent. durant's hot scoring the past week or 2 is misleading.

Still a lot of games to play, but I think the MVP would come out of whatever team has the best record out of Rose, Howard, Paul or Durant (If the Heat have the leagues best record at the end, then Lebron).

There's still plenty of time left, but if the season ended now I would say Rose.

    Nope, IMO.

It will go down to either Rose, CP3 or the darkhorse, Stoudemire.
