I don't know about "more" MVP titles but the year after he won 2 was his best season and he definitely should have won it

    2-horse race, IMO.

    Stoudemire and Rose.

As much as a lot of us on this board hate him, dont forget about Dirk too. The Mavs at 32-15 are contenders for at least the west with him and looked terrible when he was hurt.

Lebron might have the best stats, but he won't win it again. The voters have a history of giving other deserving players their due. It will be Howard or CP3.

Wait, so he is putting up worse stats than he did the last couple years, and he is playing with a better supporting cast but his team which was no 1 last couple years now is number 3 in the east,

So stats went down, team standing went down, and his team talent went up....

    thats not the greatest formula...

I agree, its gotta be dwight howard. The dude is the anchor on one of the best east teams nad he is the most valuable player on that team, on defense, adn on offense with attention on him. You take him out of that team, and even though they have talent, they sink because it all revolves around him.

I read on espn they were hesitant since he isn't averaging 20 ppg or something, they weren't hesitant when they gave it to nash averaging 15 ppg that year, why bc his 11 assist changed the game? Its absurd not to say dwights blocks, rebounds, and his presence don't make it that much easier for his teammates. Its all an arbitrary process that needs to be taken out of the media's hands

Stoudemire is definitely not in contention for the award. The Knicks have been slipping of late and will probably be a .500 team once the season ends.

Although he has somewhat resurrected the franchise and proven he can exist outside of Phoenix James/Rose and others are much higher on the list for MVP.

Without Howard they are similiar to the Rockets without Yao Ming.

They have no post presence besides Bass.

    Arenas is washed up
    Nelson is mediocre
    Hedu is aging/old
    Jrich is still alright

They are a borderline playoff team/lottery team without Howard.

Probably a race between Rose and Lebron

But I do think they will give it to Rose because Miami is stacked as hell

They are just trying to end their streak right now. The line up they put out says it all. They know what they are playing for.

Are you kidding me, they haven't played with a healthy mo williams, delonte is good, anderson varejao is out for the season, antawn jamison has missed half the season, illgaskus is gone, and tehy are missing the defensive coach that gave a d edge that made them one of the top defensive teams the last few years.

Yes lebron was the main player and anchor of that team, but to say he is the only one who left and say look at his impact, that is a fool's way of thinking, they are missing half their team, have had horrible injuries and changes.

He is obviously a big part and made them worse, but you are ignoring some other major factors

They are trying with a very different team than they were trying with last year. Shaq, Big Z and West are gone plus Varejao and Mo have been hurt.

The Cavs last year minus Lebron, would be lucky to win 20 games, and I think most sane people will admit that.

Shaq was washed up last year, West was injured, Jamison only come after the trade deadline(washed up),and Mo Willams was having a bad year.

I think that this season is proving that nobody is more valuable than Yao.

    He should win it ;)

On a more serious note, LeBron is not deserving when he is on a team with 3 stars. They'd be good with or without him, how valuable can you be if that is the case? There are ALOT more deserving players in the league.
