Will Lakers use half court trap earlier in game 5?

Possibly yes,and it is effective. Lowry and Brooks will have to play together to compensate for it as best as they can.

 

not a big concern if we're prepared and know how to deal with it. like the fronting defense, the trap leaves holes in the defense. if exploited properly, they'd take it back in no time.

right, that is why we saw a lot of AB and Lowry on the floor at the same time.

 

I don't think so. Trapping often leaves bigs in bad situations against quicker guards and could get the Lakers into some foul trouble. With their main advantage being on the inside now, I don't see them risking Gasol or Odom picking up early whistles. Just a hunch.

Yeah, Chuck always did great job on defense. Gasol can't play easy when he face Chuck Hayes!
