i cant believe anyone in there right mind would say yao ming, whom is a awesom talent in he's own right, will be a unbeliveble 10 TIMES better then hakkem olajuwon. also how can you say ming will be the best player on earth for the next 15 years?... so you're saying yao will still be the best player in he's late 30'S?. considering the scheduel he has every offseason, he's national commitments and rockets pre seasons, i highly doubt yao will be even playing in he's late 30'S....

Kingpinmaster is probably some 12 yr old kid. Why do people on this BBS bother wasting their time with idiots like this? Who cares what he says about Jordan? He probably wasn't even born when Jordan was dropping 50 left and right on everyone.

Jerry West must be so giddy right now.

Battier, LoWright, Person and next year's #1 for Kobe?

Caron Butler and Eddie Jones for Kobe?

My God. This certainly doesn't seem like it's been blown out of proportion, it's for real this time.

I do think that the Lakers can win the Championship with either SHaq or Kobe, they dont' need both. Malone and Payton were carrying their respective teams last season.

kingpinmaster is being too outrageous to be just another naive newpie poster.

I suspect he is probably another poster incognito that is just having some fun with everyone. :)

that is certainly a possibility, but he shows all the marks of class and bball knowledge that I would expect out of a young ESPN board denizen.
All that is missing is the "U R all foolz, U R 2 stoopid 2 reocgnize my genus"
but I will never know if he does get to that level......:D

Hey, you "know for a fact", huh? I guess we can dismiss the case now, eh? You've already misstated some of the facts known in the case, so I'm getting no reading on the credibility meter.

"Stupid slut"? "Tatoo"? Good Lord, you sound just like the typical knee-jerk type who says "yeah, she dressed like that - she wanted it!"..."hey, she came out of her house today, she wanted it!" Let's let the criminal justice system do it's thing. After all, $$$$$$ will probably win the day, and he'll be acquitted in all likelihood, regardless of guilt or innocence.

As for your basketball point - no thanks, we don't need a prima donna ball-hog, we need character guys in addition to talent...on either point, Bryant need not apply.

Koby will not go 2 the rockets IF he dosnt dont stay in LA he will go to a team where he can prove he is capable of doing everything on his own, kinda like T-MAC does. IMO

heh, you guys complain about Francis (taking too many shots) and Mobley being a ballhog and never passing the ball, and you want Kobe Bryant?

What are you high? Jordan shoots better, has more hops, is a better dunker, better passer, makes his teammates better, plays better D AND MOST OF ALL, SCORES MORE PTS. Kobe is great but saying he's better than Jordan is just plain stupid.

Who will attract good players to take less money to play for the team, Kobe or Yao?

My feeling is that Yao will attract very good players to play for the Rox, sometimes even for less money. Of course, that depends upon how much Yao has improved this season. At the end of this season if Yao averages 20-10-3-2 (points-rebounds-assists-blocks), and if Kobe become more upset with Shaq, Kobe might be interested in coming to Houston. Never say never, right?

I think the Rockets should do to Kobe what he still can't do for himself.

    1. Kobe's dad played here
    2. New start, new arena, young team.
    3. What better way to spite the best big man in the league, than to go play with his closest competition.
    4. Cuttino is exactly what the Lakers need to replace Kobe.
    5. With all the talent in Texas, Les would LOVE to go one-up.

    Maybe...

I would love to see Kobe in Houston or Sacramento. Remember, he has been going tour in China and know about Yao and what he's capable. I also think he loves the Kings style of play and the players there like Webber and Bibby and he ABSOLUTELY love Arco arena and love playing there (he mentions it everytime he's there). So, if he's going to leave, I have no doubt that the Kings is on top of his list. NO DOUBT!! Houston is a 2nd choice when it comes to championship. Kings' first!
