Get over it, Kobe is not as great Shaq, these Finals just proved that.

Have you seen Shaq's (superior) numbers in the finals.

3 Finals MVPs (and 5 NBA Final Appearances):

    1995: 28.0 ppg - 12.5 rebs - 2.5 blks - 59.4% FG (6.25 ast.)

    2000: 38.0 ppg - 16.7 rebs - 2 blks - 61% FG (2.33 ast.)

    2001: 33 ppg - 15 rebs - 3.4 blks - 57.5% FG (4.8 ast.)

    2002: 36.3 ppg - 12.4 rebs -2.75 blks - 59.9% FG (3.75 ast.)

    2004: 26.6 ppg - 10.8 rebs - 2.8 blks - 63.1% FG (vs. Pistons) (1.6 ast.)

    2006: 13.7 ppg - 10.2 rebs - 60.7% FG (Age 34, partially injured Shaq)

When Shaq's teams made it to the finals, they surely didn't lose, because of him or his failure to deliver. Can't say the same about some of his sidekicks (esp. Kobe who is inferior in every single category)? Wonder if you will post their numbers in championship for us?

Shaq failed to delivered when Orland was swept by the Dream who was toying w O'Neal.

if only Shaq can contain Dream to have his normal game, Orlando would have fared much better.

free throws, point in the last 2 min of game, steals, assists.

In the Finals with Lakers, Shaq rarely trailed in 4th quarter, because they were blowing teams way.

Shaq didn't fail, the Orlando Magic failed. Shaq's number were above average and he clearly was the 2nd best player in the league that year.

What were Kobe's stats in Finals again?

    so were Kobe's
that doesn't change the fact that he, more than anyone else, was the reason that his team was swept.

Not accurate. Even Shaq as an NBA baby came far closer to overall nuetrelizing Dream than Robinson or Ewing, yet those other teams took the Rockets to 6 and 7 games. The biggest reason for the Rockets sweep as the Rockets players after Dream far outplayed the Magic players after Shaq.

Hakeem was the best playoff center at this time hands down, but Shaq was a solid #2 and gave Hakeem trouble in his own right.

Hell, is he even better than James Worthy? Magic, Wilt, Shaq, West, Kareem.

what is your basis for making this claim.

if you're insinuating / rationalizng is true, would Dream have won rings way before meeting Shaq. if im not wrong, Dream never got close to making the finals until Jordan had retired.

Did you watch 2000, 2004, or 2008 NBA Finals game? Or even see stat lines against the Pistons, Kobe only shot above 40% once in the entire series. In 2000, he didn't average anywhere close to what Shaq was doing in fact, he missed one game and only shot over .45% twice...he was shooting 30% in the last 2 games of the series.

During the Rockets championship run, Shaq put up the best numbers against Olajuwon in the playoffs, Olajuwon dominated Ewing and Robinson. He outplayed SHaq, but he didn't totally dismantle him like the other two. Also, are you discrediting the Rockets championships, because MJ was in the league. The Bulls weren't the best team in 94 or 95. Bulls got sent packing in 95 by the Magic who were at the time a better team than Bulls.

Is it a coincidence that people who think Kobe are the greatest know nothing about NBA history? ;)

Kobe kids (zealous fans and borderline stalkers) are like Brittany Spears/Miley Cirus fans. They think they are like greatest gifts to mankind, even better than discovery of fire. Their irrationality has no ends.

Ahead of Magic? Ahead of Kareem? Ahead of The Logo? Unless Kobe and the Lakers go on a 3 peat tear, it ain't happening.

You should be ROOKIFIED for this. How do you claim yourself to be a Rockets fan if you don't even know the bare basics?

I won't even ask you know the win/loss record of Dream vs Jordan teams,
do you know what the NBA is?

    I don't think you do.

Don't worry about it, tinman. Remember some of these fans got on board the minute Steve Francis started crying on Draft Night.

Are you kidding me? Shaq beat Jordan's bulls, and got swept by the dream. The bulls never had a favorable matchup with us. anyways No matter that they had the greatest player to ever play ball, they could not have beaten the 94 or the 95 rockets anyways.
