You understand the team concept and the hero concept too.

    Good work!

did howard step up last year for the lakers?
did harden step up in the finals against the heat?

have they stepped up before? Yes

Point is even your heroes aren't always heroic...

why not ask whether your superstars will step up first?

That's a pic from some 2013 tour. The retro looking beanies and other gear threw me off....

LOL someone is getting defensive. It seems like Lin fans are more afraid of the playoffs than Lin himself

because the whole point is that Lin is the xfactor on this team. the superstars are superstars because they will bring it. lin is the xfactor that has not historically performed well in playoffs, due to injury or missed them due to injury. so lin is a big ??? that is important to how this team will peform in the playoffs.

TinMan let me ask you is there anyone else in Rockets history that has been a no show during the playoffs? Somehow continues to have excuses for not showing up during the playoffs?

Go check some of Howard and Harden's post game interviews after a bad game.

He won't be a hero to GARM even if he averages 30pts, 12 assists, 11rebs, and 0 turnovers and brings home the championship. Only until he is traded to another team will he be considered a hero to GARM.

I second this. Game 2 vs. Dallas, hitting the game winner? Game 7 vs Utah (minus Yao getting clobbered by Boozer, loosing us a trip to the WCF)? Yes. Sounds good.

No better way of putting it at this point.

Lin is a complete wildcard going in the playoffs.

For Lin, the rest of this season might be the most important stretch of basketball he will ever play in his life. Likely a career defining moment for him.

To think we could've had Dragic instead... sigh I remember arguing with people on here and so many people honestly thought Lin was > Dragic. now that time has passed we see the truth.

    More importantly, DC or Marvel?

And who do the rockets represent?

    We have Superman, so DC?
But Tinman is like Ironman, so Marvel?

    What truth?

The Suns are still struggling for a playoff spot.

I don't want him to put up big numbers in the playoffs, all I want him to do is to defend with high intensity

So? the Suns also only have Dragic. If you are comparing the two pgs based on where their teams are then have you considered Harden and Howard into that equation.

Doubt it. He is mentally weak and rarely overcomes adversity. He will be the 4th option with teams focussing on Dwight, Harden and Parsons. He needs to play well for Rockets to have a good chance
